European In-Flight Magazines

There are more than 65 in-flight magazines from 75+ European airlines in The In-Flight Magazines Report, and this number has been growing with each edition.

That's not really a big surprise because the number of airline passengers flying to and from Europe is growing each year too!

Examples of European In-Flight Magazines

Here are some examples of the European in-flight magazines listed in The In-Flight Magazines Report: KLM's Holland Herald, Lufthanza's Lufthanza Magazin and bmi's bmi regional

What Content do European In-Flight Magazines Contain?

In-flight magazines publish travel content, of course, but they also offer a diverse range of content that includes general interest pieces as well as articles on business, entertainment, health, and lifestyle.

With almost every article, there is some connection to one of the destinations to which the airline flies.

European in-flight magazines have been top notch publications for a long time, and it is only in the past decade or so that other airlines have been 'lifting their game' to offer magazines of a similar calibre.

The Current Outlook for European Travel & In-Flight Magazines in Europe

According to the International Air Transport Association's  (IATA) Air Passenger Monthly Results Report - Dec 2015, global air passenger traffic grew by 6.5% in 2015. This is the fastest pace of growth since the big rebound which followed the Global Financial Crisis in 2010.

European carriers experienced 5.0% growth in international passenger traffic during 2015, helped by a rise in consumer spending in the Eurozone and an increase in flight frequencies in the region.

With strong growth like this, there should be plenty of passengers reading European in-flight magazines over the year ahead.
